Working under Dr Peter Mundy at the University California at Davis we are in the process of launching a virtual reality lab for the study and remediation of issues of social attention with a focus on high functioning autism. The lab is physically situated at the UC Davis Center for Mind and Brain but is organizationally a part of the UC Davis MIND Institute.

Personally, I am part psychologist, part developer. In the past I have had clinical training and have worked for a start-up company (Cycorp) as a knowledge engineer a.k.a. ontologist as well as a non-profit research and development institute (SRI). I am interested in social cognitive neuroscience, autism, virtual reality as well as applying machine learning and ontology to issues in the health sciences and affective computing.
