Workshop Activities

The workshop activities are fully-customizable.  Contact me to discuss your needs.

Here is the schedule for a typical 3 day workshop:

  • Day 1
    • Outline Vision:
      Discuss the goals for the Vizard application we will work on during the workshop.
    • Create Plan:
      Create a backlog of development tasks for your application. Establish a schedule.
    • Setup Workspace: Verify that your motion trackers, HMDs, Vizard installation, 3ds Max, and data analysis software (Matlab), are installed and working together.
  • Day 2
    • Establish Workflows: Streamline the importing of 3D models into Vizard. Create data recording format for easy importing into analysis software like Matlab.
    • Create Code Skeleton: Build place holding code structure for most important features of your application. Use Vizard programming best-practices.
  • Day 3

    • Build Features:
      The consultant works one-on-one with team members, implementing the most challenging features of the application.

    • Test:  Do an end to end test of the application: from tracking hardware to data analysis software. Fix issues we discover. 
  • Additional Days
    • Spent building challenging features of your application with the consultant at your side.

Who Should Attend

Anyone involved in the design, programming, or 3D modeling of Vizard applications. We can adjust the workshop activities to suit participants of any skill Vizard level. However, a beginning understanding of Vizard is useful.

Class sizes should be limited to 4 people. To accommodate more schedule multiple workshops or contact me to see whats possible.
